Congregational Life
Berea Mennonite Church has been an inter-racial Christian witness in East Atlanta since it was established in 1962. Community is an integral part of Mennonite theology. Here at Berea we offer:
- - 9:30 AM - We gather together early on Sundays for a simple continental breakfast and hot drinks.
- - Lectionary Study - Adult conversation about the weekly scriptures, life, and where they meet.
- -Sunday worship service at 11:00 AM
- - Children's Time - Fun, craft-based biblical education for children ages 2 and up.
- - Fellowship meals hosted at the homes of members
- - Personalized mutual support by fellow Christians during times of need (i.e., you are not a number at Berea!)
- - Joint activities with Atlanta Mennonite Fellowship
We are expanding our ministry by the recent establishment of Oakleaf Mennonite Farm and we are in the planning stages of creating a Hispanic church plant. Please pay us a visit during this exciting period of growth for Berea.
