Oakleaf Mennonite Farm: A Ministry of Berea Mennonite Church

We are called in Genesis to cultivate and keep the garden. God calls us, individually and as a Church, to be stewards of the Creation which has been entrusted to us. In the past, our land - like much church property - has been underutilized. We believe we are to cultivate the land in practicing stewardship on our little piece of Creation. We are located in a community that offers great diversity. We want to add to the diversity by our farming efforts. We have established a community garden. We have committed to sharing some of our "first fruits" with our neighbors. This farm is, in part, a response to the question, "Where does my food come from?" We offer locally grown food using organic and sustainable methods. Will you join us?
We now have goats and chickens!
